Terms and Conditions

MODIFICATION OF TERMS
We may change, modify or revise these terms of use at any time by amending this page. The changes made to the terms will come into effect as soon as they are posted on our websites and will be subject to the amended terms. You are expected to check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes we may have made, as they are binding on you. Some of the provisions contained in these terms of use may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on our websites.

RIGHTS
We retain all intellectual property rights, including copyright of all images in the websites and galleries
We are the owner (or the licensee) of all intellectual property rights in our websites.
We may include images from your event on our website, facebook or youtube pages purely as a means of showcasing our work. If you do not wish for us to do so please let us know via email upon booking.
We will never sell such images on to a third party without your prior written consent.
All images, website content and format in this website are meant for self-promotion and viewing only. Downloading, copying and printing are strictly prohibited. Copyright 2011 Christina Savvouri, All Rights Reserved.
Files will be kept for a period of up to two years, after which time they may be destroyed at our discretion.
All editing will be at our discretion.
We agree to comply with the Data Protection Act 1998. We shall assume, unless otherwise notified, that all persons attending the event have consented to be photographed. Please notify us prior to the event if this is not the case.

OPERATION OF THE WEBSITE
We may change the format and content of our websites (or any products or services offered by our websites) at any time. This also includes pricing.
We may terminate or suspend the operation of our websites (or terminate or suspend provision of any products or services offered through our websites) for support or maintenance work, in order to update the content or for any other reason. We may do this at any time and without notice.

EVENTS
The 250Euro booking fee secures your chosen date and is non-refundable.When you pay the deposit you will be deemed to have read and accepted these terms and conditions.
The balance is due in the resort on the day of your event and payment is in Euros only. Processing of the photographs will not begin until all payments have been honoured.
The client must obtain any permission required and pay any fees charged by the venues for allowing photography on their premises. (At present we are unaware of any venues that require this in Cyprus)
We strive to cover as much of an event as is physically possible. If there are specific moments which you require definite coverage for we will not be held responsible for any failure to do so if this is not specified in advance to the event itself and a written confirmation of this exchanged between parties.
In the unlikely event of an equipment failure or a cancellation by Christina Savvouri Photography, we shall provide a full refund and accept no further liability.
All cancellations must be in writing.
Any aggressive, abusive or insulting behaviour to us and members of our staff by you and/or any of your guests will be deemed as an immediate breach of contract. We retain our right to leave the premises and take any necessary action to redeem all monies owed to us.

GALLERIES
Images from a portrait session or event uploaded by us will (subject to the restrictions in these terms) be available for viewing by you in a photo gallery.
You can share your gallery with family and friends by allowing them to have access to your gallery (your "guests"). You can do this by forwarding the password to the protected gallery to them from which they will access it.
Guests are permitted to buy printed items, submit comments and notify offensive material in respect of those photos which you have given them access to. We will not be responsible for any action taken by your guests who have been given access by you to the gallery.
You should not nominate any guests if you do not wish to allow them to order printed items from the gallery.
We may delete, remove or refuse to display any material from the gallery at our sole discretion.

SERVICES / PRODUCTS
We will use our reasonable endeavours to reply promptly to all correspondence. Such reply may be by email or by phone.
Once you have placed an order for any products or services through our websites (including any order for printing services), the order will not be treated as having been accepted until you receive confirmation from us that this is the case. This confirmation will be provided by email.
The decision as to whether to accept any order from you is at our sole discretion.
Customers will be provided with all images and products as stated in the packages. Any extra items come at an extra cost.
Delivery of the products shall be made to clients personally unless due to busy periods this is not possible. In which case the items would be posted to them to an address in Cyprus or abroad at an extra cost to the client and which will depend on the on the weight of the items to be sent. This can be paid via paypal or in person depending on which is more convenient.
Please allow at least three weeks for editing purposes. During busy periods this may take up to two months. We ask you to please be patient as we want you to have the most beautiful pictures possible which you will cherish for the rest of your life.
To maintain continuity of service we reserve the right to use alternative photographic products in the production of printed items, to those stated on our websites.
In the event that printed items are produced and prior to dispatch are then discovered to be in breach of these terms, we will not dispatch the printed items to you or to any guest who ordered the printed items. We may, at our sole discretion, refund all or a proportion of the payment made in respect of the order concerned but reserve the right to charge in full as if the printed items had been dispatched.

CREDIT CARDS
In the event that you supply invalid credit card details or details of a credit card that belongs to someone else without their consent, we reserve the right to terminate your order without notice.

IT IS NOT PERMITTED TO:
You are not allowed to use our websites (or to copy or use any material from our websites) for any commercial purpose. This includes allowing access to your gallery in return for payment or for any other commercial purpose.
You are not allowed to remove any copyright, trade mark or other intellectual property notices contained in material on our websites from any copies or printed items taken of material from our websites.
